Because of a recent increase in armed robberies uptown, we are temporarily adding an additional patrol at night. We urge everyone to be especially vigilant of their surroundings, and to call the patrol (504.451.1614) to meet you when you are arriving home. Not only is it a good idea to have the patrol accompany you at night, but consider calling when you’re coming home during the day with packages or groceries. Also, please consider leaving porch and driveway lights on at night as a deterrent to thieves and robbers.
