Yesterday evening around 9:40 PM a male and female were robbed at gunpoint around the intersection of Walnut and Prytania. 2 male individuals wearing hoodies jumped out of a SUV with the lights out pointed the gun at the couple and demanded their belongings. Police stated that this is the 4th armed robbery in the area as of 4/10/2015. Another resident spoke with the police and they stated that the perpetrators fled in an SUV toward Broadway via Garfield.

The police are asking anyone with any information: seeing an unusual SUV, eyewitness description of two unfamiliar men, footage on a security camera... to please give them a call at the 2nd District 504 658-6020. Specifically, please check your security footage for an unfamiliar SUV. It's possible the SUV was circling a several block radius prior to the robbery.

The time frame of interest is 9:45 ish to 10:35PM Tuesday (4/14).
